POSTAGE AND DELIVERY FAQS
- Will I get a notification when my item is dispatched?
Yes, you’ll receive an email notification when we post your item, so you know it’s on its way.
- Which courier companies do you use?
We use either Royal Mail or Evri to deliver your items.
- How long will my item take to arrive?
Dispatch of jewellery is usually within 1-2 working days of placing the order, and for bags and accessories, within 5-7 working days of placing the order. For all items, please allow 2-3 working days for UK orders to arrive after dispatch, and up to 2 weeks for international orders after dispatch. - Why does it take longer to dispatch bags and accessories?
To reduce waste and surplus stock, Kaledoscope’s collection is made-to-order by Amy Lou in her studio, so the processing time needs to be a bit longer to enable enough time to make your item. - My item hasn’t arrived, what do I do?
Please allow 2-3 working days for UK orders to arrive after dispatch, and up to 2 weeks for international orders after dispatch. If your item still hasn’t arrived, please contact us so we can help you with tracking your item. - I want to return my item, what do I do?
If you’d like to return your item, please contact us to start the process. Unfortunately, earrings are non-returnable due to health and hygiene regulations. - Do I have to pay for postage if I return my item?
Yes, the customer is responsible for return postage costs. - I live in the USA, will I be charged duty on my items?
No, the minimum threshold for paying import tax is $800, so unless your purchase is above this, you’ll not have to pay duty.

- What is vinyl faux leather?
Vinyl leather is a synthetic material that is used to emulate the look and feel of genuine leather. It is durable and water-resistant, just like genuine leather. Kaleidoscope uses premium faux leather in a range of colours for their bags and accessories, offering a great alternative to genuine leather while still maintaining a quality aesthetic. - What does ‘cruelty free’ fabric and materials mean?
Cruelty-free fabric is fabric or materials that are produced without harming animals. - Which size Antonia bag do I get?
There are three sizes to choose from in the Antonia design: Small, Medium and Large. The product listing shows pictures that compares the sizes so that you can get a good idea of what to expect from each size. We also include dimensions of the three sizes as well as a description of what you can fit in them. The Medium is our most popular size that our customers go for. It’s a typical tote bag size – perfect for an everyday work bag. If you’d like more help selecting the right size, then don’t hesitate to contact us. - How will my bag be packaged?
Your Kaleidoscope bag will come attractively packaged in an attractive white box with the Kaleidoscope logo on it; it’s also 100% recyclable. - Can I purchase a Kaleidoscope bag and accessory gift card?
Yes, you can purchase a gift card.
JEWELLERY FAQS
- Will my jewellery tarnish?
To keep your Kaleidoscope jewellery in the best condition, we recommend you follow these guidelines:
• Store your jewellery in a container such as a jewellery box or the cardboard gift box that your Kaleidoscope piece comes in. This will protect it from direct sunlight, preventing discoloration.
• Avoid getting your jewellery wet for prolonged periods of time as this can cause tarnishing. If you do get it wet, gently pat it dry with a cloth.
• Avoid spraying perfumes and other toiletries directly onto your jewellery. We recommend you spray and wait a few minutes before accessorising as lotion/sprays chemicals can cause tarnishing.
• Hang fine necklaces separately or place in separate compartments to prevent them becoming tangled together.
• Every now and then, clean your jewellery by lightly buffing it with a soft, lint free cloth. - What is Kaleidoscope jewellery made of?
Each product listing has a section which informs you of the piece’s composition. Please read this section to find out this information, as it can vary for each item of jewellery. - How will I know if my necklace or bracelet will be the right size?
We often offer two different sizes in our necklaces and bracelets and provide information of their dimensions. If you’re unsure of what size to get, we recommend that you measure your neck and wrist with a tape measure to find out the best option for you. We’re also more than happy to do bespoke orders if you feel that our size options aren’t quite right. If you need more help with deciding on the correct size, then do not hesitate to contact us. - Do you offer gift wrapping?
Yes, all Kaleidoscope jewellery comes in an attractive gift box at no extra cost – it’s all ready to gift so you don’t need to worry about that! - Can I purchase a Kaleidoscope bag and accessory gift card?
Yes, you can purchase a gift card.

- I’d like to take part in a Kaleidoscope workshop. how do I book?
Please go to our workshop page and follow the link which will take you to all current workshops on offer. - What sewing experience do I need to do a workshop?
Most of our workshops are suitable for beginners. You can read the full low-down on each workshop by reading the overview in the workshop booking page. This will tell you what skills you will learn on the day as well as explaining what prior skills you may need to have. - Are all materials and equipment provided?
Yes, we provide all materials and equipment as well as refreshments. - Who hosts the workshops?
Amy Lou hosts the workshops. She’s the owner, designer and maker of Kaleidoscope. - Where do the workshops take place?
The workshops take place in various venues across the North-East of England. The workshop booking page will inform you of where it will be located.
REFUND POLICY
- If you wish to return this item, please notify us within 14 days of receiving it.
- A further 14 days are granted from the date you notify us to return this item.
- Buyer pays for return postage.
- Earrings are non-returnable due to health and hygiene regulations
